Man United After Sol Campbell?

Man United only have Patrice Evra as their only fit defender. Nemanja Vidic is expected to have recovered from flu for Saturday’s game against Aston Villa. John O’Shea and Jonny Evans are out until January. It isn’t known how long Rafael da Silva, Gary Neville, Wes Brown, Fabio da Silva and Rio Ferdinand will be out for.

Premier League: United Back On Top

Last night Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher had to play as centre-backs for Man United. This morning Sol Campbell has been linked with a move to Old Trafford. Campbell terminated his contract with Notts County weeks after signing with them.

Since leaving Notts he has been training by himself, the club and Campbell have sorted out a deal which means that he can play for another club on a free.

It is thought that Man United will look into how fast Campbell could play for United. It is believed that he could play in the New Year. If that is the case I am not sure if Sir Alex Ferguson will go for that, some of the players could be back by then. If Campbell could join and play straight away then that could be a fantastic deal.

Campbell is still a great player and it could prove to be a master stroke by Sir Alex.
