According to Sky sources, Wigan have agreed a deal with Manchester United to take Tom Cleverley on loan.

Cleverley hasn’t made a first team appearance for Man United yet, but he did impress during pre-season.

There has been interest from other Premier League clubs but it looks like Wigan have won the race for the 21-year old. The youngster was loaned out to Watford last season, scoring 11 goal in 33 appearances.

One Response so far.

  1. Cleverley is a talented player, he will do a decent job at Wigan. He's unlikely to ever get a run in the United first team though – but then I said that about Fletcher.

By the way, I've just set up a price comparison website called www.manchesterunitedhotels.com, which compares all the hotels near Old Trafford. If you're travelling a long way for a match and want somewhere to stay, have a look. (P.S. I don't get any commission for the site.)
