Fabio da Silva made his debut for United and I was really impressed with him, unfortunately Fabio had to leave the pitch early due to an injury. Sir Alex has said that Fabio has suffered a calf strain but there is no news on how long he will be out for.

Danny Welbeck also limped out of the match the good news is that Sir Alex has said that it is nothing serious and should be fit for Man United's Premier League match against West Brom on Tuesday.
Welbeck looked good on the right, especially considering he isn't a midfield player, he is a striker.

Cristiano Ronaldo, what can you say about Ronaldo? Apparently he was ill this morning and he still played, yes he didn't have a great match but his presence can make a difference.
Ronaldo was tackled hard and a few minutes later he was substituted, he walked straight off down the tunnel and some Man United fan's are giving him stick.
Ronaldo is a Man United player and if United fans want him to carry on being a Man United player then they have to stop giving him stick for absolutely nothing, it is ridiculous.
Many people whether they are United fans or not criticise Ronaldo for not tracking back but he did today more than once.

Carlos Tevez was my Man Of The Match, he never stops working for the team, he may not score as many goals but he is constantly chasing the ball and winning it back for the team, in my opinion, he is worth the money which United would have to pay for him.

Zoran Tosic came on in the second half to make his debut for United and I was impressed with him aswell. He did take a freekick which he delivered in and it was a good ball. He worked hard to get the ball and he was involved in some of United's moves.

Dimitar Berbatov, it was probably written in the stars that Berbatov would score today and the goal that he did score was a great goal, it was a fantastic ball from Carrick to find him and Berbatov slotted it past the keeper.


There has been much praise for Nemanja Vidic over the past few weeks and all good things have to come to an end. Vidic got himself in a muddle and allowed Pavlyuchenko to give him the slip and head in Tottenham's goal. Vidic needs a rest but with all the defensive injury problems United currently have, there isn't much chance of that happening anytime soon.

Michael Carrick had another steady match, he assisted Man United's goal, he worked the midfield and had a great game. Carrick was influential during the match, bossing the midfield and I think that he should be one of the first names on Fergie's list.

Ben Foster did have the best of starts to the match after conceding the early goal, I don't think that he could really have done much about it. After that he didn't have much to do but what he did do, he did well.

Paul Scholes had a really bad start to the match, to be fair, United had a really bad start to the match but after United's equalising goal which came from his shot and took a deflection off Huddlestone, you could see his confidence growing.

Richard Eckersley replaced Fabio and you would have thought that Redknapp would tell his players to attack Eckersley but he didn't have to do much either. He did look a little bit nervous, but wouldn't you be?

Darren Fletcher replaced Welbeck and he didn't really have long enough on the pitch to really do much.

Gary Neville had a quiet game but there were a few poor clearances but just like the rest of United's defence, there really wasn't that much to do.

John O'Shea didn't do much wrong throughout the game, I think that he gets unjustified stick from United fans. There was just one moment in the second half when he let Bale through but other than that he didn't do anything wrong.
