Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has claimed that his side are better than Man United and Man City, even though Arsenal have lost to both clubs already this season.

Arsenal lost 2-1 to Man United, a week later they lost 4-2 to Man City. Wenger has said that those performances against both teams showed that Arsenal are just as good, if not better than both United and City. Quite how you work that out when you lost, I don’t know.

“There is a belief after the games against Manchester United and Manchester City that we are stronger than them. We have to transfer that into points and wins,” Wenger told The Belfast Telegraph.

“I am not talking about the whole package, but on the basis of that match we should not have any inferiority complex. We’ll see when the season ends.”

For starters, he would say that- he is the Arsenal manager. Of course he thinks his team is better.

I will give him the Man City one, I believe Arsenal are better than City but I don’t think they are better than United.
