The big news for the Premier League today is that Premier League clubs have rejected a proposal to admit Scottish teams Celtic and Rangers into the English top flight.

It is being reported that over 14 of the Premier League chairmen have rejected this idea.

This is a bit of a surprise, I was expecting it to go through but as far as I am concerned, Celtic and Rangers are Scottish teams and it should stay like that. I know that Welsh teams Cardiff and Swansea are in the Championship but I don’t think it would be right.
