David Beckham To Finally Return To Old Trafford

It is over six years since David Beckham left Man United, he will now return for the first time to play at Old Trafford with AC Milan in the Champions League. Earlier on in the week, Beckham had said that he would love to play Man United in the next stage and his dream has come true.

Italian soccer Serie A, Milan vs Atalanta

Beckham said: "I would really like to face my former team in the next round. Since I left (United) in 2003, I have not returned to play at Old Trafford.
"Seven years have gone by and I would like for that to happen. Me against Manchester, it would be beautiful, wouldn't it?"

Beckham never really got the chance to say goodbye to the Man United fans and I am sure that when he does return, he will get a fantastic reception.

Man United will travel over to Italy in February and AC will travel over to England in March.
The teams have played each other eight times in European competitions, AC Milan have gone through every single time. The most recent being in the 2006/07 season when AC Milan beat United 5-3 on aggregate, mainly thanks to Ricardo Kaka.

Milan may have lost Kaka to Real Madrid in the summer but Man United also lost Cristiano Ronaldo to Real during the summer. They are still a strong team just like we are and it will make for two fantastic matches.

I am looking forward to both games, we could have had an easier draw like Barcelona have but this is what the Champions League is all about- top teams playing each other.
Overall, I believe we are stronger and should go through but you never know.

Here is the full Champions League final 16 draw:

Stuttgart v Barcelona
Olympiakos v Bordeaux
Internazionale v Chelsea
Bayern Munich v Fiorentina
CSKA Moscow v Sevilla
Olympique Lyonnais v Real Madrid
FC Porto v Arsenal
AC Milan v Man United
